Abstract

Migratory Hmong ethnic groups have their own culture, traditions, and music as part of their way of life. There is a clear ethnic identity. This academic paper is part of the qualitative research. Data were obtained from the field through interviews, observations, and descriptive presentations.

          Social Changes of Hmong Ethnic Groups who live in the area of ​​Khao Kho District, Phetchabun Province Can be divided into 5 transition periods: 1) Immigration period (before 1986) 2) Rom Klao War period (1987 - 1988) 3) After the war period (1989 - 2003), 4) the period of development and cultural change (2004 - 2017) and 5) the present period (2022). All these changes directly affected the ritual music of the Hmong ethnic groups. Lives in the area of ​​Khao Kho District, Phetchabun Province resulting in a change in music and rituals of the Hmong ethnic groups in the area.
