Abstract

Folk brass band, Ban Tan ordination ceremony Uttaradit Province There is a history of the Ban Tan Band. Music styles and characteristics and studied the roles of serving society in Uttaradit and nearby provinces for a long time. Ban Tan Band, established in 1929, has developed the pattern of instrumental music for 90 years. The pattern of instrumental music has been changed to be suitable for the needs of the society. Widely until today.

Music styles and characteristics There are mixed forms of funerals and ordination. Use the method of sitting and playing Songs are classified into 2 types, which are Thai and popular music. Played in a single melody Use the major sound ladders in rhythm styles 2/4 and 4/4.
