Effect of Group Process According to Cognitive Behavior Therapy on Attitude Toward Prevent Pregnancy and Behavioral Intention in Prevent Pregnancy Among High School Students

Abstract

This research was quasi-experimental. The objective for study effect of group process according to cognitive behavior therapy on attitude toward prevent pregnancy and behavioral intention in prevent pregnancy among high school students, total 20 people. It was divided into experimental and control groups of 10 people each. Compare the difference, attitude toward prevent pregnancy and behavioral intention in prevent pregnancy before and after the trial with the Dependent and Independent T- Test values. 4-week follow-up period with Repeated Measure ANOVA analysis.


The results showed experimental group have attitude toward prevent pregnancy and behavioral intention in prevent pregnancy score was post-test (gif.latex?x\bar{}=39.90, SD=5.47) ( gif.latex?x\bar{}=28.00, SD=3.30) higher than pre-test ( gif.latex?x\bar{}=35.00, SD=7.21) (gif.latex?x\bar{}=23.60, SD=5.72) at p-value 0.05. The treatment group of attitude toward prevent pregnancy and behavioral intention in prevent pregnancy score ( gif.latex?x\bar{}=39.00, SD=5.47) ( gif.latex?x\bar{}=28.00, SD=3.30) higher than control group (gif.latex?x\bar{}=34.00, SD=3.55) (gif.latex?x\bar{} =22.60, SD=2.59) at p-value 0.001 and p-value 0.05. During each follow-up period, treatment group had a statistically significant difference in behavioral intention in prevent pregnancy (F=7.379, P<0.05). In the Follow up score behavioral intention in prevent pregnancy ( gif.latex?x\bar{}=30.20, SD=0.90) higher than pre-test ( gif.latex?x\bar{}=23.60, SD=1.81) at p-value 0.05.
