Concept of Public Policy Analysis based on Political Science Theories

Abstract

Public policy is an important role in social development, if public policy is good, it will be the success factor effect to opportunities of improved development. Therefore, the acquisition of good public policy is an important part of public policy process. Theories of public policy analysis can be considered both in terms of political science and public administration. This article aim to explore the concept of public policy analysis based on political science theories were; Systems theory, Institutional theory, Elite theory, Interest group theory or Group equilibrium model, Process theory, Game theory, Public choice theory and Political utility theory respectively.
