The Impact of Tourism Development Policy called 12 Cities that should not be Missed on The Business Outcome of 3 Sectors of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Phetchabun Province

Abstract

The main purpose of this study was twofold: to examine the perception level on impact of tourism development policy named 12 cities that should not be missed on the business outcome of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in three core business types (food producer and distributor, beverage producer and distributor and hotel operator) in Phetchabun province; and to study the influence of two main variables that are organizational factors and perception on tourism development policy on the business outcome of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Phetchabun province.

The key research findings were as follows; 1) The perception level on tourism development policy named 12 cities that should not be missed from research samples is high; 2) The perception level on this tourism development policy has a significant impact on business outcome of the studied enterprises; and 3) The four studied organizational factors has no significant impact on business outcome of the studied enterprises.
