SIGNIFICANT CHARACTERISTICS ON OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE OF THE GOVERNMENT OFFICERS: A CASE STUDY OF THE NATIONAL PARK, WILDLIFE AND PLANT CONSERVATION DEPARTMENT

Abstract

The objective of the research entitled significant characteristics on the outstanding performance of the government officers: a case study of the National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation Department was to seek for the significant characteristics of the forestry officials. The research was a qualitative research with a case study. The data collection was completed by an in-depth Interview. The key informants were 15 outstanding forestry officials. The data were analyzed by content analysis. The results found that there were 10 characteristics of outstanding performances, specialized knowledge, adaptation and coexistence with others, passion, curiosity, devotion, cherished natural resources, love in career, diligence, honesty, and patience.
