THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MOTIVATION AND WORK EFFICIENCY OF PERSONNEL WORKING, SA KAEO COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Abstract
The three objectives of this study were (1) to investigate work motivation of personnel working for Sa Kaeo Community College, (2) to investigate efficiency of personnel working for Sa Kaeo Community College and (3) to examine the relationship between the subjects’ work motivation and work efficiency. All of working staff at Sa Kaeo Community College were the population in this study. The instrument used to collect the data was a questionnaire. The statistical tests used to analyze the collected data included frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation, and Pearson Product Moment Coefficient.
The results of the study revealed that the level of the subjects’ work motivation was found at a high level. While the aspect in relation to status of the occupation was rated with the highest means score, the aspect relating to monthly salary was rated the lowest. Based on the results from the analysis of work efficiency, it was found at a high level. Particularly, while the aspect in relation to process of work was rated the highest, the aspect relating to making decision and judgment was rated the lowest. In addition, a relationship between the subjects’ work motivation and work efficiency was found positive and moderate at a significant level of 0.01.
