A Confirmatory Factor Analysis of good governance administration at Na Yai Arm Sub-District Administrative Organization, Na Yai Arm District, Chantaburi Province

Abstract

The research has the objectives to analyze the com-ponents of good governance administration and to investigate the concordance of good governance administration at Na Yai Arm Sub-District Administrative Organization with the empirical data. There were 352 participants used as a sampling group and were selected by using a stratified random sampling tech-nique, Participants from each village were randomly selected by Simple Random Sampling. A questionnaire with a four-point scale was used as the research instrument in this study. The model was validated using confirmatory factor analysis through Mplus Demo Editor Program.
The research results indicated that good governance administration at Na Yai Arm Sub-District Administrative Organ-ization consisted of six factors. In order of factor loading they were: transparency, accountability, participation, rule of law, morality and cost effectiveness respectively. The model in ac-cordance was fit with the empirical data with Chi-square (gif.latex?\chi2) = 9.699, df = 5, gif.latex?\chi2/df = 1.939, p-value = 0.084, CFI = 0.998, TLI = 0.993, RMSEA = 0.052 และ SRMR =0.012
