Abstract

The paper is “The Trade of Vegetable and Fruit Products after Thailand-China Free Trade Area”.  The objectives of study are two fold : (1)  To study about Thailand-China Free Trade Area in vegetable and fruit products; (2) To study about the effect of Thailand-China Free Trade Area.  To achieve the objectives of the study, three periods under the study are 2002, and 2004.  The study found that after FTA Thailand-China balance of Trade in vegetables increased to 3,138 Million Baht, but balance of Trade in fruits decreased to 71 Million Baht.  Some farmers can take advantage from this beneficial, but the farmers who cultivated garlic get loss from FTA.
