กระบวนการพัฒนาแผนแม่บทงานวิจัยสำหรับองค์กรอย่างมีส่วนร่วมในคณะสิ่งแวดล้อมและทรัพยากรศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the participation in an organization for development of a research master plan. This was a qualitative study involving discussions with a focus group composed of a research management team, a research committee, researchers, research coordinators, and heads of supporting staff in the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University. The results showed that the research master plan can be divided into four parts: Part one, the development of research policies including seeking funding sources, preparing employees for conducting a research project and facilities, and management of research based on potential; Part two, the development of research directions such as research affecting national economy, research for social issues, and research for academic development; Part three, the action plan development such as tactics following a strategic plan, preparing employees and facilities for conducting a research project, continuation of  research, research publication and transfer, and benefit management from research; Part four, driving and evaluating the plan using a mechanism created and implemented by the organization through the participation from the management level to the operational level for achieving the master plan.
