Abstract

The purposes of this study were: 1) to study the level of expectancy and satisfaction of the first year students (code 62) on curriculum 2) to compare the level of expectancy and satisfaction of the first year students (code 62) on curriculum and 3) to make recommendations for curriculum management and teaching management in accordance with the expectations and satisfaction of learners. A sample of study was 363 students of the first year students (Code 62) studying in Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus, Academic Year 2019. The samples were obtained by Stratified Random Sampling. The instrument used was questionnaire of which reliability coefficient was 0.97. Statistics used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and the hypothesis was tested by using One-way ANOVA and Multiple Linear Regression.

The findings disclosed as follows: 1) Expectation of the curriculum of Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen Campus overall is at the highest level (gif.latex?\bar{x}= 4.40) and satisfaction of the curriculum of Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen Campus overall is at the highest level (gif.latex?\bar{x}= 3.87) 2) In terms of expectation, it was found that the reasons for choosing to study further and important issues in the administration of the curriculum in 6 aspects (Courses / Courses, Teaching Management, Instructor, Measurement and Evaluation of Teaching and Learning, Supporting factors for teaching and learning and Academic services of the Educational Support Unit) were different which affected the expectations of the First Year Students (Code 62) on Curriculum of Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen Campus at the 0.05 level of significance. In terms of Satisfaction, it was found that the subject group currently studying and important issues in the administration of the curriculum in 6 aspects (Courses / Courses, Teaching Management, Instructor, Measurement and Evaluation of Teaching and Learning, Supporting factors for teaching and learning and Academic services of the Educational Support Unit) were different which affected the expectations of the First Year Students (Code 62) on Curriculum of Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen Campus at the 0.05 level of significance.
