บทคัดย่อ

        การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์พยาธิสภาพทางพฤติกรรมของตัวละครแดร็กคูล่าผ่านกรอบทฤษฎีบุคลิกภาพด้านมืดสามประการ (Dark Triad) โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพผ่านการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาเชิงตีความจากนวนิยายเรื่อง Dracula ของ Bram Stoker ตีพิมพ์ในปี ค.ศ. 1897 ผลการวิจัยพบว่าแดร็กคูล่ามีโครงสร้างทางจิตวิทยาที่สอดคล้องกับพฤติกรรมเบี่ยงเบนในมนุษย์อย่างครบถ้วน โดยมี ความเย็นชาทางอารมณ์ (Emotional Coldness) เป็นแกนกลางสำคัญ ในด้าน นาร์ซิสซิซึม แดร็กคูล่าแสดงออกถึงความรู้สึกยิ่งใหญ่ (Grandiosity) และความมีอภิสิทธิ์เหนือผู้อื่นผ่านการยึดถือเกียรติยศวงศ์ตระกูล ด้าน มาเคียเวลเลียนนิสม์ ปรากฏชัดในการวางแผนเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ การใช้ความกลัวบงการเหยื่อ และกลยุทธ์ “ใช้แล้วทิ้ง” เมื่อหมดผลประโยชน์ และด้านไซโคพาธี สะท้อนผ่านความอำมหิตและการปราศจากมโนธรรม (Lack of Remorse) โดยเฉพาะในฉากการสังหารชีวิตที่บริสุทธิ์อย่างเย็นชา

          การศึกษานี้ช่วยเปลี่ยนผ่านภาพลักษณ์แดร็กคูล่าจากปีศาจในจินตนาการสู่การเป็นแบบจำลองพฤติกรรมศาสตร์ (Behavioral Model) เพื่อสร้างความเข้าใจและเท่าทันต่อบุคคลอันตรายที่เป็น “ผู้ล่าทางสังคม” (Social Predators) ในบริบทปัจจุบัน นอกจากนี้ยังเสนอแนะให้ขยายขอบเขตการศึกษาสู่แนวคิดบุคลิกภาพด้านมืดสี่ประการ (Dark Tetrad) โดยเพิ่มด้านความสะใจบนความทุกข์ของผู้อื่น (Sadism) เพื่ออธิบายความอำมหิตของตัวละครให้ลึกซึ้งยิ่งขึ้นในอนาคต
