The Relationship between Path-Goal Theory of Leadership of School Administrators and Teamwork of Teachers Under Chiang Rai Primary Education Service Area Office 3

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the path-goal theory of leadership of the school administrators, 2) to study teamwork of teachers, and 3) to study the relationship between the path-goal theory of leadership of the school administrators and teamwork of teachers. This was a quantitative research study. The target group consisted of 327 school administrators and teachers under Chiang rai Primary Education Service Area Office 3. The research instruments were questionnaires, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson Product Moment. Also, the correlation coefficient analysis was used.
The results were as below
- The sample group was mainly female, between 41-50 years old, with the master's degree, position of teachers and less than 5 years of work experience.
- The overall path-goal theory of leadership of the school administrators under Chiang Rai Primary Education Service Area Office 3 was at a high level.
- The overall teamwork of teachers under Chiang Rai Primary Education Service Area Office 3 was at the highest level.
- The result of comparison of the relationship between the path-goal theory of leadership of the school administrators and teamwork of teachers under Chiang rai Primary Education Service Area Office 3 was at the positive level with the statistical significance at .01.
