Development of 5E Learning Activities in Integrated Science with Community Learning Resources on "Fermented Bamboo Shoots" to Enhance Community Innovator Skills for Grade 3 Students at Ban Huai Hin Fon School, Mae Pa Subdistrict, Mae Sot District, Tak Province

This research article aimed to 1) develop learning activities, 2) compare students’ academic achievement before and after the implementation of the activities, and 3) investigate students’ community innovator skills 4) assess students' satisfaction. through the use of the 5E instructional model in the integrated science through utilizing the community-based learning resources. The learning content focused on “Pickled Bamboo ShootProduction” for Grade 3 students at Ban Huai Hin Fon School, Mae Pa subdistrict, Mae Sot district, Tak province. The study employed a quantitative research methodology. The sample group consisted of 19 Grade 3 students from the 2024 academic year at Ban Huai Hin Fon School, selected by using total population sampling. The research instruments included: a 5E-based lesson plan for the integrated science subject, incorporating local learning resources, a learning achievement test, and a community innovator skills assessment form
As the results, 1) The quality of the lesson plans in the subject "Science Integrated with Community Learning Resources" on the topic "Making Pickled Bamboo Shoots" was rated at the highest level of appropriateness; 2) The students’ learning achievement after participating in the 5E learning activities was higher than before; and 3) The community innovator skills of students who participated in the 5E learning activities were at a good level overall. 4) Overall, the students' satisfaction with the 5E instructional activities was at a high level.
