Abstract

          This research article aimed to 1) study the public attitude toward the political party  membership registration in Laksi district, Bangkok, 2) compare the public attitude toward the political party membership registration in Laksi district, Bangkok, classified by personal factors including gender, age, income and occupation, and 3) study relations between political participation and the public attitude toward the political party membership registration in Laksi district, Bangkok. It was quantitative research. The sample consisted of 400 people by accidental sampling and the questionnaire for the data collection. The statistical techniques were percentage, mean, standard deviation, One-Way ANOVA and Pearson’s Moment Product Correlation.

           The research found that the public attitude toward the political party membership registration in Laksi district, Bangkok, was high level. Sex and occupation had significant impacts on different levels of public attitudes toward political party membership registration in Laksi District, Bangkok, at a significance level of 0.05 Additionally, political participation was related to people's attitudes toward political party applicants in Laksi District, Bangkok, at a significance level of 0.05.
