The Study of Components of Teachers’Technology Skill Implementation at the Schools

Abstract

          The objective of this research article aimed to study the components of technology skill implementation of the school teachers. It was a qualitative study, with the research design involving the review of 10 document sources of research, followed by the synthesis of the components and the evaluation of their appropriateness for the school teachers. The research process was divided into two steps: 1) synthesizing the components of technology skills for the school teachers from 10 relevant sources of documents and research, selecting components with a frequency of 5 or 50 percent; 2) evaluating the appropriateness of the identified components of technology skills for the school teachers by 5 experts. The research instruments used included a document synthesis form and a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. The data analysis methods included frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

           The research findings revealed that the components of technology skill implementation of the school teachers inclused 1) using the internet and network programs, 2) using computers and connected devices, 3) using media to create instructional materials, and 4) using digital tools for security and safety.
