A study of School Safety Components

The objective of this quantitative research article aimed to study the components of safety at the schools and to evaluate the suitability of these safety components there. It was a quantitative research study, with the research process divided into two stages. The first step was to synthesize the school safety components from 12 sources of related studies and research articles, and the second step was to evaluate the possibility of the school safety components by 5 experts. The tools used in the study consisted of a synthesis form and 5-level rating scale questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed for frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation.
The results revealed that the school safety consisted of five components, namely
1) physical environment, 2) school safety services, 3) health education, 4) buildings, and 5) social environment. All components indicated high level of possibility.
