Abstract

          This research aimed to study: 1) the levels of management skills in the 21st-century; 2) the levels of online teaching and learning management competencies of teachers; and 3) the relationship between management skills in the 21st-century and online teaching and learning management competencies of teachers at Phrapariyattitham Educational institutions, General Education Department, Area 5, Chiang Mai province. The sample size used in this study consisted of administrators, teachers, and personnel under the Phrapariyattham Educational Service Area Office. General Education Department, Area 5, Chiang Mai province, totally 175 persons. The tool used in this research was a questionnaire with a 5-level rating scale; the statistical instrumentals used in data analysis were: percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson’s product moment correlation.

            The results showed the followings: 1) the overall level of management skills in the 21st-century was high, with an average of mean = 3.97 and standard deviation = 0.69 2); the overall level of online teaching and learning management competencies of teachers was high, with an average of mean = 4.01 and standard deviation = 0.63; and 3) there was a significant positive correlation between management skills in the 21st-century and online teaching and learning management competencies of teachers in Phrapariyattitham Educational Institutions, General Education Department, area 5, Chiang Mai province was high positive with statistic significant (r= 0.864 , p<0.01).
