The Relationship Between Work Motivation and Job Efficiency of Employees at Newtech Trading Company Limited

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the work motivation levels of employees and the job efficiency level of employees at Newtech Trading Company Limited; 2) to compare the job efficiency by personal factors of employees at Newtech Trading Company Limited; and 3) to study the relationship of work motivation and job efficiency of employees at Newtech Trading Company Limited. This research was a quantitative research, data were collected by questionnaires. The research population was 103 employees at Newtech Trading Company Limited. The statistical methods used in the research were: frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test (One-way ANOVA) with Fish’s Least Significance Differences: LSD and Pearson Correlation Coefficient.

          The study found that 1) overall level of work motivation of the employee was in the moderate rate, and overall level of job efficiency of the employee was at high efficiency; 2) the results of comparison of job efficiency with different personal factors were null hypothesis; and 3) there was a low positive correlation between work motivation and job efficiency at the .01 level of significance.
