มิติใหม่ของห้องสมุดชุมชน: แหล่งเรียนรู้และบริการครบวงจร

Abstract

Libraries are crucial information banks and learning resources of schools, communities, and countries. The library could be used as a yardstick to gauge that nation or society take learning of its people or members seriously or not from the libraries and people using the libraries. The writer is a real fan of libraries and book stores, so the writer usually call at book stores, or visit libraries whenever possible. Two months ago, my wife and I visited her former American Peace Corp Volunteer who taught her some forty years ago, we had chances to visit some book stores and two libraries; one in Seattle and the other in Kennewick, Washington State. The impressions in this article that the writer would like to share were that of new dimension of Kennewick Community Library. It is more than a library, but “A Learning Resource and Total Service Cycle” as what the writer named it as appeared in the tittle above. Details of the matter shall be presented as follow.
