บทความนี้มีจุดประสงค์หลักสองประการคือ ประการแรก ต้องการนำเสนออาหารและเครื่องดื่มที่เป็นอาหารและเครื่องดื่มพื้นถิ่นของเยอรมันทางตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ นั่นก็คือ รัฐบาเด็นเวือเท็มแบร์ก (Baden-Württemberg) ประการที่สอง ต้องการแสดงให้เห็นว่า อาหารและเครื่องดื่มพื้นถิ่นดังกล่าวสะท้อนให้เห็นภาพสังคมและวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่นของผู้คนในแถบบาเด็นเวือเท็มแบร์ก ด้วยเหตุที่อาหารและเครื่องดื่มพื้นถิ่นดังกล่าว มีรูปลักษณ์ วิธีการปรุง รสชาติ และอาจใช้เครื่องมือพิเศษที่ผู้คนในถิ่นนี้ประดิษฐ์คิดค้น จึงแสดงให้เห็นถึงวิถีการดำเนินชีวิตและลักษณะนิสัยของผู้คนในแถบนี้ในอดีตจนถึงปัจจุบันได้เป็นอย่างดี จนเป็นที่กล่าวขานกันว่าเป็นเอกลักษณ์ประจำถิ่นบาเด็นเวือเท็มแบร์ก
Food and Beverages in Southwestern Germany: A Local Cultural and Societal Mirror

This article serves two purposes. Firstly, it presents victuals local to southwestern Germany, particularly Baden-Württemberg. Secondly, it illustrates that food and beverages can reflect the culture and society of locals in Baden-Württemberg. The cuisine, the flavors of food, and the special utensils invented by the people of Baden-Württemberg can best reflect the way of life and characteristics of people in this region from former times to now, so it can be said that they have become the unique local identity of Baden-Württemberg.
