Good Practices in Academic Administration Combined with the Use of Distance Education via Satellite at the Small Schools under the Uttaradit Primary Educational Service Area Office, Area 1

This research study aimed to find good practices in academic administration in conjunction with the use of distance education via satellite at the small schools. It was qualitative research. The key informants consisted of 18 people. The research instrument was a structured interview. The data were analyzed using content analysis.
The results showed that 1) developing school curriculum consisted of planning, participatory academic administration, operations, integrating school curriculum with distance education via satellite. Inspecting work performance was internal supervision. Improving and developing work performance was creating a professional learning community. 2)Development of the learning process consisted of planning, namely analyzing school curriculum and studying the distance learning manual via satellite. Operation was organizing learning according to the broadcast schedule. Inspecting work performance was internal supervision. Improving and developing work performance was creating a professional learning community. 3)Development of educational media, innovation, and technology consisted of planning, which was surveying problems and analyzing needs, operations, which was preparing the system before organizing learning. Inspecting work performance was internal supervision. Improving and developing work performance was creating a professional learning community. 4)Educational supervision consisted of planning, i.e. appointing an operating committee, operations, i.e. checking completeness and continuity. Improving and developing work practices was creating a professional learning community. 5)Measuring, evaluating, and disseminating academic results involved planning, including the analysis of performance indicators. The process involved establishing evaluation criteria and reviewing the regulations of the Ministry of Education to ensure compliance with institutional and national standards. The operation involved measuring and evaluating learning outcomes based on actual conditions and transferring academic results in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education. Work performance was monitored through internal supervision to ensure quality and compliance. Continuous improvement and professional development were promoted by establishing and sustaining a Professional Learning Community.
