Digital Leadership of School Administrators Affecting School Management in the VUCA World under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chiang Rai

This research article aimed to: (1) examine the level of digital leadership among school administrators; (2) investigate the level of school management in the VUCA World era; and (3) study the digital leadership of school administrators affecting school management in the VUCA World under the Chiang Rai Secondary Educational Service Area Office. This study employed a quantitative research methodology. The sample consisted of 317 educational personnel from 41 schools. The research instrument was a five-point rating scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
The findings revealed that:
1) The overall level of digital leadership among the school administrators is high, with the highest average score in the area of organizational culture building and learning, and the lowest average score in the area of digital communication and networking.
2) the overall level of school management in the VUCA World era was at a high level, with the use of digital technology and innovation to enhance efficiency and sustainability the highest mean score.
3) Four aspects of digital leadership among school administrators, namely the use of digital technology and digital tools, digital vision, self-development and personnel development in digital skills, and the creation of organizational culture and learning, can collectively predict school management in the VUCA World with statistical significance at the .01 level. Together, they can explain 57.10% of the variance in school management in the VUCA World.
