Strategic Leadership of Administrators Affecting Sports Management towards Excellence Rajaprajanugroh Schools under the Bureau of Special Education Administration, Group 6

This research article aimed to: 1) study the levels of strategic leadership of school administrators, 2) study the levels of sports management towards excellence, and 3) study the strategic leadership affecting sports management towards excellence in Rajaprajanugroh Schools under the Bureau of Special Education Administration, Group 6. This was a quantitative research study. The sample consisted of 274 school administrators and teachers in the 2025 academic year. The research instrument was a questionnaire administered through both paper-based and online formats. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
The research findings revealed that:
- The overall strategic leadership of school administrators was at a high level. The aspect with the highest mean was vision formulation, while revolutionary thinking had the lowest mean.
- The overall level of sports management for excellence was high. Planning yielded the highest mean score, whereas controlling yielded the lowest mean score.
- Strategic leadership factors that significantly influenced sports excellence management were future expectations and opportunity creation, the ability to utilize various inputs in strategic formulation, vision determination, leaders’ high-level understanding, and revolutionary thinking. These five variables jointly explained 81.90% of the variance in sports excellence management (R² = .819). The strongest predictor was future expectations and opportunity creation (β = .333), followed by the ability to utilize various inputs in strategic formulation (β = .292), vision determination (β = .168), leaders’ high-level understanding
(β = .125), and revolutionary thinking (β = .112), respectively.
