The Development of an Effective School Administration Model for Creating Educational Innovations at Thamuang Rajbamrung School

Abstract

          This research and development (R&D) aimed to 1) study the components and approaches of effective school administration for creating educational innovations at Thamuang Rajbamrung School 2) develop and validate the model, 3) implement the developed model, and 4) evaluate the outcomes of applying the model. The research utilized a mixed-methods design, involving 1,857 teachers and students, and 304 key informants. Instruments included questionnaires, interview protocols, document synthesis forms, component and model validation forms, implementation evaluation forms, and innovator characteristics and innovation creation ability evaluation forms. Data collection involved surveys, interviews, document analysis, and expert seminars. Data analysis employed frequency, mean, standard deviation (SD), Priority Needs Index (PNI), and content analysis.

           The findings showed 1) The components of the model were found to be appropriate, comprehensive, and practical. 2) The developed model was of the highest and endorsed by 12 experts and the try-out phase received positive feedback, demonstrated effective implementation, with overall satisfaction among respondents. 3) The implementation results revealed that the project achieved an overall success exceeding the school’s target. 4) Teachers and students demonstrated the highest level of innovator characteristics and teachers reached a very good level of innovation creation ability. While the students exhibited the good level. The school’s quality was rated “Excellent” across all quality assurance standards and indicators, with tangible achievements in every dimension, reflecting the characteristics of an innovative organization role model and a leader in driving sustainable educational innovation.
