A Study of Strategic Leadership Components of Administrators and the Effectiveness of School Budget Management

Abstract

          This research study aimed to investigate the components of strategic leadership among administrators and the effectiveness of school budget management.This qualitative research was conducted through two main procedures: 1) synthesis of strategic leadership components of administrators and school budget management effectiveness from 10 documents and research sources, selecting components with a frequency of 5 or 50 percent, and 2) evaluation of the appropriateness of strategic leadership components of administrators and school budget management effectiveness by 5 experts. The research instruments utilized in this study consisted of a document synthesis form and a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire (rating scale).Data analysis was conducted through content analysis, employing statistical methods frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

            The results of the research were as 1.Strategic leadership among administrators comprised 5 core components:1)setting a strategic direction, 2)implementing strategies 3) controlling and evaluating strategies 4) demonstrating ethics and morality, and 5) promoting organizational culture.2.The effectiveness of school budget management consisted of 6 components:1)budget planning 2 production cost calculation 3)supply and asset management 4) financial management 5) internal auditing and  6) financial and operational reporting.
