Abstract

          The purposes of this study were: 1) to study the level of the student support system and quality of students in non-formal education at the basic education level of district learning encouragement under Phetchabun Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement; 2) to study the relationship between the student support system and quality of students in non-formal education at the basic education level of district learning encouragement under Phetchabun Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement; and 3) to create an equation for predicting the operation of the student support system predicting the quality of students in non-formal education at the basic education level of district learning encouragement under Phetchabun Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement. It was a quantitative research approach. A sample consisted of 255 teachers in non-formal education at the basic education level of district learning encouragement under Phetchabun Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement. The research instrument was a five-rating-scale. The statistic was analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient and analysis of multiple regression equations.

           The results of the study were as the following. 1) The overall student support system and quality of students in non-formal education at the basic education level of the district learning encouragement under Phetchabun Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement was at a high level. 2) The student support system was related to the quality of students in non-formal education at the basic education level of the district learning encouragement under Phetchabun Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement, with a correlation coefficient between .674 - .768 with statistical significance at the .01 level. Aso, 3) the student support system,  promotion and development of students, prevention and problem solving were able to predict the quality of students in non-formal education at the basic education level of the district learning encouragement under Phetchabun Provincial Office of Learning Encouragement with the 65.70%, statistical significance at the .01 level.
