The relationship between creative leadership and academic service in education opportunity expansion schools under the office of nan primary Educational Service Area 1

Abstract

          The objectives of this Quantitative research were to study: 1) the creative leadership of school administrators and the academic service of the school administrators, and 2) the relationship between the creative leadership and the academic service of the school administrators at the educational opportunity expansion schools under Nan Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. A research sample consisted of 226 teachers by simple random sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Statistical instrument used in data analysis included Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation.

           The results of the research showed that 1) the overall level of the creative leadership of school administrators was at the highest, with an average of mean = 4.55 and standard deviation = 0.54, and the overall level of the academic service of the school administrators was at the highest, with an average of mean = 4.63 and standard deviation = 0.52; and 2) there was a significant positive correlation between the creative leadership and the academic service of the school administrators in the educational opportunity expansion schools under Nan Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, with the high positive with the statistic significant (r_xy = 0.957 , P<.01).
