Abstract

          The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the proportion of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) usage by school directors in educational administration, 2) to study the proportion of school effectiveness in the digital era, and 3) to examine the relationship between ICT usage in educational administration and school effectiveness in the digital era of District Learning Promotion Centers in Phayao Province. This study employed a correlational research design. The sample population consisted of 127 participants, including directors, teachers, and personnel from District Learning Promotion Centers in Phayao Province. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean ( x̄ ), standard deviation (S.D.), and Pearson's correlation coefficient.

           The research results revealed the following:

  1. The overall level of ICT usage among District Learning Promotion Center administrators was high, with a mean score of 3.99. When examining individual aspects, personnel management ranked the highest (mean = 4.02), followed by general administration (mean = 4.01), budget management (mean = 3.97), and academic administration (mean = 3.96), respectively.
  2. The overall effectiveness of educational institutions in the digital era was also high, with a mean score of 4.04. For individual aspects, administrative innovation scored the highest (mean = 4.09), followed by digital citizenship (mean = 4.07), learning management innovation (mean = 4.06), and academic achievement (mean = 3.97).
  3. A strong positive correlation was observed between directors' ICT usage in management and educational institution effectiveness in the digital era (r = .796), with statistical significance at the .01 level. Among individual areas, general administration showed the highest correlation with overall effectiveness (r = .786), while administrative innovation had the strongest correlation with overall ICT usage (r = .794).
