Strategic Leadership Influencing Human Resource Management in Public Educational Institutions under the Office of Chiang Rai Provincial Vocational Education

Abstract

          The objectives of this research article were to study (1) the level of strategic leadership of public educational institutions, (2) the personnel management of public educational institutions, and (3) the strategic leadership influencing personnel management in public educational institutions under the Chiang Rai Provincial Vocational Education Office. This was a correlational research approach. The sample group used in the research consisted of 248 school administrators and teachers under the Chiang Rai Provincial Vocational Education Office. The instrument used was a questionnaire with an overall reliability of 0.936. The statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation, and regression analysis using the Enter method.

           The research results found that (1) the strategic leadership of the public educational institutions under the Chiang Rai Provincial Vocational Education Office was overall at a high level, (2) the personnel management in the public educational institutions under the Chiang Rai Provincial Vocational Education Office was overall at the highest level, and (3) the strategic leadership influencing the personnel management in the public educational institutions under the Chiang Rai Provincial Vocational Education Office was 93.4 % with statistical significance at the 0.01 level, written as a regression analysis equation as follows:
