Guidelines For Developing Information Systems For School Administration in the Chaloem Phrakiat School Group Under The Nan Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the operational problems of the information system of the school administration, and 2) to find a way to develop the information system of the school administration of the Chalerm Phra Kiat School Group Network. A mixed methods research design was employed. The population used included 12 school directors in the school group network, 147 teachers, a total of 159 people, and 9 target groups for interviews. The statistics used included frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The results of the research showed that: 1)problems in the operation of the information system of the school administration, in descending order, were data collection, verification, process, application, analysis, and organization. 2)The development approach consisted of the data collection focusing on analyzing the context and needs of users; data verification the school development of a comprehensive data verification system with a supervisory board and use of a variety of tools and modern technology for accurate and fast results; data processing the school priority for data processing and its systematic implementation; data storage educational institutions with use planning of appropriate state of art tools for data storage, assurance, and accuracy. The educational institutions should encourage personnels to develop their data analysis skills for the decision making, and improve the quality of education management and data application. Clearly, they should data usage plans and implementation. There should be staff responsible for collecting, analyzing and using data in all activities of the educational institutions.
