Guidelines for Academic Administration at the Schools as the Target Group for Improving the Results of Basic National Educational Testing (O-NET) under the Sukhothai Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

The research article aimed to evaluate the necessity of academic management and study the academic management practices of schools targeted for improving the national basic education test (O-NET) results under the jurisdiction of the Office of Primary Education Area, Sukhothai Educational Service Area Office 2. The study utilized a mixed-method approach with a total population of 227 individuals, interviewing 9 key informants. Research tools included questionnaires and interviews. Statistical analysis methods used in data analysis comprised of percentages, mean values, standard deviations, and content analysis.
The research findings indicated: 1) the necessity of academic management practices of schools in the target group ranked high in areas such as technology and learning resource development, curriculum development, internal leadership, assessment and evaluation, and learning management, and 2) the academic management practices of schools in the target group encompassed five dimensions: technology and learning resource development, budget support for materials and equipment procurement, curriculum development, collaboration for educational management analysis, internal leadership structuring, internal leadership committee formation, guideline development, assessment and evaluation data alignment with objectives, competency indicators in ethics, skills, and attitudes, and learning management through collaborative competency metric analysis and learning management organization based on competency metrics.
