Organization Administration Towards Becoming the High-Performance Organization of Nakhonratchasima Provincial Employment Office

Abstract

          The research purposes were to study: (1) to study the level of becoming the high-performance organization of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Employment Office; (2) to study the factors had relationship to becoming the high-performance organization of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Employment Office; and (3) to study problems, obstacles, and recommendation in driving towards the high- performance organization. This research was the mixed methods research. The quantitative research population was 86 civil servants and employees of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Employment Office, selected using the purposive methods. In qualitative research, the important informants consisted of 10 executives and department heads of the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Employment Office. The research instruments were questionnaires and structured interviews. The statistical instruments were the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Chi-square test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and content analysis. The research results showed the following:

  1. For becoming the high-performance organization of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Employment Office, overall all aspects were at high level. (Mean 84)
  2. The factors had relationship with the high-performance organization of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Employment Office. The organizational leadership and human resource focus, had the greatest relationship for a high performance organization. For the relationship testing between the personal characteristics of age and length of operations, it had a statistical significance level of 0.01
  3. The problems and obstacles for becoming the high-performance organization were the communication: lacking of understanding in the same way, and using modern technology in work. It is recommendable that organizational communication should be created culturally for knowledge exchange and work together and develop/modernize information technology to increase operational efficiency.
