Administration According to the Good Governance Principles of Nakhon Ratchasima City Municipality in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Abstract

          The research purposes were to (1) study the administration levels according to the Good Governance Principles of Nakhon Ratchasima City Municipality, Nakhon Ratchasima Province; (2) compare the administration according to the Good Governance Principles of Nakhon Ratchasima City Municipality, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, classified by personal factors; and (3) present the recommendations of administration according to the Good Governance Principles of Nakhon Ratchasima City Municipality, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. This was the survey research. The population was the 99,054 the voter people in area of Nakhon Ratchasima City Municipality; the sample group was the 398 people. The research instrument was the questionnaire. The data analysis statistics were the percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and one-way analysis of variance.  

           The research findings were:

1. The administration levels of Nakhon Ratchasima City Municipality, Nakhon Ratchasima Province overall were at high level; and each aspect consideration with  the highest mean  was the use of morality principles , followed by the economy transparency, and rule of law, respectively.
2. The people with different gender, age, and education levels had the opinions on the administration according to the Good Governance Principles of Nakhon Ratchasima City Municipality, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. There was no difference for each aspect, overall.
3. The recommendations of administration development according to the Good Governance Principles of Nakhon Ratchasima City Municipality, Nakhon Ratchasima Province were that the executives should establish clear rules, regulations and operational regulations; opportunity for all parties to participate in expressing their opinions, and making suggestions for the management's decision making; The people's representatives should be appointed to approve the procurement for transparency and accountability.
