Abstract

          This research article aimed to study the problem condition and supervision patterns within educational institutions under the vocational education, Uttaradit province. The population used in this research consisted of 6 directors, 6 deputy academic directors, and 48 academic supervisors, totally 60 people.  The target group included 2 directors, 1 deputy academic directors, 5 subject chairpersons, and 1 expert, totally 9 people. Research tools were questionnaires and interview forms. The statistical instruments used to analyze the data were mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

           The results showed that followings.

  1. Problems of internal supervision of educational institutions under the vocational education in Uttaradit Province, with all 4 aspects sorted from the most to the least, were: the survey of current conditions, problems and needs; supervision within educational institutions; supervision Operations supervision planning; and evaluation and reports on supervision results.
  2. The form of internal supervision of educational institutions under the vocational education in Uttaradit Province, consisting of the principles of the model, should focus on the principles of participatory work, sharing opinions, planning and working together. It is suggesting that the model purposes should inform the administrators, supervisors and supervision recipients to have knowledge, so that they would understand and apply the form of supervision within educational institutions for the educational quality development.

                   As for the method of operation of the model, there are steps: surveying current conditions, problems and needs of supervision, supervision planning, implementation of the supervision plan, and evaluation and reporting. There are a model evaluation and its criteria orientation, consistent with the supervision practice and the success conditions of the model. The administrators and teachers in educational institutions should realize its importance to the internal supervision operations. There is a supervision plan and supervision evaluation.
