Abstract

          This research aimed to study the Necessary Needs of Learning Resources Management and guidelines for the management of learning resources of educational institutions in Mae Mo District under the Office of Lampang Primary Education Service Area 1. Population used according to the objectives of the 1st research consisted of 18 school administrators and 274 teachers, totally 292 people. The sample group included 18 school administrators, 151 teachers, totally 169 people. The target group used in phase 2 consisted of 3 school administrators, 2 supervisors, 4 teachers responsible for learning resources, totally 9 people. Tools used to collect data were questionnaires and interview forms. Statistical instruments used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, demand index, priority needs index, and content analysis.

           The results showed that the need for the management of learning resources of educational institutions in Mae Mo District under the Office of Lampang Primary Educational Service Area 1, in order of descending order, namely were: management improvement, assessment, and planning, respectively. For the guidelines of learning resources management, there were 4 aspects. Namely, educational institutions created understanding for teachers in managing learning resources; a committee was created to operate, follow up, and evaluate the use of learning resources both inside and outside institutions; manuals were prepared for the use of learning resources both inside and outside educational institutions; and a committee was assigned to explore learning resources, to report problems, and to improve the management of learning resources academy of governance. Also, the committee was assigned to follow up regularly, and to bring information to determine guidelines for the development of learning resources.
