The development of a Learning Resource Management Manual within Educational Institutions under the Office of Kamphaeng Phet Secondary Education Service Area

This research article aims to study the problem conditions, develop and evaluate the appropriateness of the manual for managing learning resources within schools under the Kamphaeng Phet Secondary Educational Service Area Office. Samples consisted of: phase 1 32 school administrators and 308 teachers, totaling 340 people; phase 2 the target group of 11 experts; phase 3 the target group of 8 school administrators and 8 teachers. The research tools were questionnaires and meeting recordings. The statistics used to analyze the data were mean, standard deviation and content analysis.
The results of the research showed that the condition of learning resource management problems within educational institutions under the Office of Kamphaeng Phet Secondary Educational Service Area was with the overall picture at the moderate level: ranking from the most to the least, the summary report including improvement and development of the learning resource management, its evaluation and follow up, and its planning. As a result, there was a manual. There are three components: Part 1 Introduction, contents, explanations; Part 2 Chapter 1: Knowledge about learning resources within educational institutions with background and importance, objectives, meanings, types, benefits, definitions, terminology and roles and responsibilities of educational institutions, related persons, Chapter 2: Concepts of learning resource management within educational institutions, and Part 3 Appendix Bibliography and a brief biography of the author, and the results of the evaluation of the appropriateness of the manual for managing learning resources within educational institutions under the Office of Kamphaeng Phet Secondary Education Service Area. The overall picture of all seven aspects was at the highest level.
