Abstract

          The purposes of the study were: to develop , assess the effectiveness and the satisfaction level of an activity package on mathematical problem solving for the students of early childhood education in their satisfaction. The samples of the study included 26 students in the 3rd year, majored in early childhood education, Faculty of Education, Uttaradit Rajabhat University in the 2022 academic year. The instruments used were an activity package on mathematical problem solving and a satisfaction questionnaire. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, and percentage.  / was used to find out the effectiveness of the activity package; and t-test (one sample group) was used to compare the level of student satisfaction with the criteria.

           The results of the study were: the activity package consisted of five sets set 1: Basic knowledge, set 2: Which promotion gains more advantages?, set 3: Let’s organize a trip, set 4: Which glass can keep heat the best?”, and set 5: Where should we have a pizza? The effectiveness of the activity package was 71.65 / 70.15 which reached the set criteria of 70/70. The students’satisfaction toward the package was at a high level; and it was significantly different at 0.01 level.
