The Guidelines for Directors’ Educational Administration in the Digital Era under Vocational Education, Uttaradit Province

The objective of this research was to study the needs of the college directors, and the guidelines for administration of educational institutions in the digital era under the vocational education in Uttaradit province. The study populations are 6 directors, 11 deputy directors and 365 teachers. The total is 382 people. The sample group consisted of 6 school administrators, 11 deputy directors, 191 teachers; totally, there were 208 people. Research tools were questionnaires and interviews. Statistical instruments used in data analysis were mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The results of the research revealed that the needs for educational administration in the digital era for the college directors consisted of 5 aspects, in descending order: vision, teamwork, citizenship in the digital era, the creation of learning culture, and the professional practice of the college administration. Regarding to the guideline of education management in digital era, there were plans driving colleges with digital innovation. The budgets supported four parts for developments of various systems in creations of learning culture and content-based activities for student innovations.
Furthermore, we would invite the public and private sectors to come together for creations of digital professional practice: developing the server computer system and equipment in the adoption of digital innovations in citizen management in the digital era. These citizens would use the digital innovations in management and operations; also, they would manage learning activities and teamwork. With their own knowledge and ability, they would obtain facilitations for their performance.
