Abstract

           The purposes of the research article were: to 1) study the quality of work life of employees of Jet Steel and Service Company Limited; 2) study the level of organizational commitment of employees of Jet Steel and Service Company Limited; 3) study the personal factors on organizational commitment of employees of Jet Steel and Service Company Limited; and 4) study the quality of work life that affects the organizational commitment of employees of Jet Steel and Service Company Limited. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The population used in this research was 54 employees. The statistical methods used in the research were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test (One-Way ANOVA), Scheffe’s and multiple regression analysis.

           The results of the research found that the overall level of quality of work life was at a high level. With consideration of each aspect, it was found that at a high level in all aspects. The level of commitment to the organization overall was at a high level. With consideration of each aspect, it was a high level in all aspects.

           The hypothesis testing results revealed that individual factors (age, education level, and marital status) had different effects on organizational commitments. The employees’ work life quality in terms of opportunities, development of human potential, and the work balance with other aspects affect organizational commitment.
