Governance in the Digital Government in Thailand

Abstract

     This research aimed to study the governance of Thai digital Government in the aspect of the relationship between the governance and the digital government. It was the qualitative research by a documentary research method.

     The research found that Thai government try to use the potential of technologies to develop country. It showed the governance on the state services in the pattern of the digital government. It was different from the former governments under which citizens were positioned as followers rather than state customers. Thus, the digital government was one of important factors related to the succession of the Thai governance. Because it found that a part of political change brought about the online society that showed the relationship between the government and the citizen on the social media. In addition, the people always used the information technology to do political activities.
