Abstract

The research objectives were: 1) to study the factors affecting; and 2) study the problems and obstacles affecting the management potential of small and medium car care enterprises, It was a qualitative research: a purposive sample of 20 key informants from the government executives, agencies related to small and medium enterprises, government officers, small and medium entrepreneurs, academics and car care employees. A tool used in the study was an in-depth interview. Data analysis used a descriptive summary. The results found that 1) the government policies affected the operation of car care establishments, products, and full services; and 2) there were problems and obstacles affecting the operation of small and medium enterprises: a case study of car care establishments. There were several factors, including transitions in business and consumer behavior from digital disruption, and the spread of COVID-19; and problems from business operations environmental issues, low season, marketing issues, lack of liquidity labor, shortage wage cost, lack of good management, organizational leadership issues, and current competitive pressures.
