Redefining Education and Learning: A Starting Point to Solve Education Quality

Abstract

No doubt to say that education is a crucial tool for human resources development in all countries throughout the world, both in the past and at the present, but, obviously, it fails to function nowadays than used to be. The question is “why”?  Because education has been a new promised tool providing learning for human species for the last three thousand years but ceases to do its job properly. One of observations is that our definitions of education and learning do not meet our needs and actions to cope with complex environment and flexible situations. So, what we need now is to rethink and redefine our job: education and learning. This article might not be all the answers, but a call for new perspectives on which education should be conceptualized and applied to assist learners’ learning more effectively
