The research divided into 2 phases. Phase 1: to study the level <br />and compare citizenship responsibility of high school students in Sarakhampittiyakhom school. <br />Samples were 351 high school students in Sarakhampittiyakhom school, selected by cluster sampling. Phase 2: to study a guideline for developing citizenship responsibility of high school students by <br />focus group discussion. Key performants were 10 stakeholders included people who had knowledge about citizenship responsibility and teachers which determined by purposive selection. Data analysis for phase 2 applied content analysis. The research tool used a questionnaire with the item discrimination between <br />.21 to .87 and reliability at .81. The statistics used in this research were percentage, mean, standard deviation. Statistics used for hypothesis testing were T-test and one-way analysis of variance. The research results found as follows; 1) citizenship responsibility overall was at high level, ranked in in descending order <br />of mean were politics, economy, society and information perception. 2) Comparison of citizenship responsibility classified by gender and age were different and classified by level of study and academic achievement were not different. And 3) a guideline for developing a citizenship responsibility were as follows: Society: understanding the politic, respecting the principle of equality, able to express ideas <br />to the public. Economy: self-dependent, living independently by sufficiency economy philosophy. <br />Politics: appertaining of management, mobilizing activities and work plans must be directed by student councils. And Information: exposing to suitable and useful news and information.</p> ER -
