The survey found that there were 338 research articles published in these two academic journals with the time span of the researched texts from Ancient Greek to contemporary period. Majority of researched science fiction texts were from the 19th century onward. Octavia E. Butler was the most researched author with 16 articles. Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus (1818) by Mary Shelley was the most researched text with 7 articles. Most of the researched science fictions were written in English at 79.14%, with the rest composed in 12 other languages. Book was the leading format of researched text at 84.91% followed by film, TV series, game and website.</p> ER -
