A Study of the Innovative Components of Teachers

Abstract

          This research aimed to study the components of teacher innovation. It is a descriptive research study conducted in two stages. In the first stage, ten research documents and scholarly articles were reviewed and synthesized to identify key components.  In the second stage, the synthesized components were validated by five experts. The research instruments included a document synthesis form and a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the mean and standard deviation.

           The research findings revealed that there are six components of a teacher's innovative qualities. All components were found to be highly appropriate, namely: 1) Observation, 2) Creativity, 3) Questioning, 4) Experimentation, 5) Networking, and 6) Taking risks.
