Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) examine the level of factors related to the strategic administration of school administrators; 2) examine the level of strategic administration of school administrators; and 3) investigate the factors affecting the strategic administration process of school administrators in secondary schools under the Wiang Ka Long School Consortium, Chiang Rai Secondary Educational Service Area Office. This study employed a quantitative research design. The sample consisted of 181 participants, determined using Krejcie and Morgan’s sample size table (1970), and selected through simple random sampling. The research instrument was a five-point rating scale questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.

The research findings revealed that: 1) the overall level of factors related to the strategic administration of school administrators was high (  = 3.66, S.D. = 0.50). The aspect with the highest mean score was administrators’ leadership (  = 3.83, S.D. = 0.50); 2) the overall level of strategic administration of school administrators was high (  = 3.82, S.D. = 0.50). The aspect with the highest mean score was strategic planning (  = 3.90, S.D. = 0.50); and 3) the factors affecting the strategic administration process were administrators’ leadership, educational innovation and technology, and human resource management. The multiple correlation coefficient was 0.709, and the coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.503, indicating that these factors could predict the strategic administration process at 50.30 percent. The regression equation was as follows:

               = 0.431 (X1) + 0.341 (X3) + 0.243 (X2)
