The study was conducted under the Nakhon Phanom Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. This study employed a survey research design. A sample consisted of 320 participants. The research instruments included: 1) a questionnaire on the needs assessment for competency development; and 2) an evaluation form for assessing the appropriateness and feasibility of the proposed development guidelines. Data were collected through research instruments administered via Google Forms. The statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and the Modified Priority Needs Index (PNImodified).
The research findings revealed that:
- The overall current condition of inspirational leadership skills among the school administrators was at a high level, while the desirable condition was at the highest level.
- The assessment of priority needs for developing inspirational leadership skills showed that the modified Priority Needs Index was 0.190. When each component was considered in descending order, the priority needs were identified as emotional and psychological support, vision communication, role modeling, and inspirational development.
- The guidelines for developing inspirational leadership skills related to emotional and psychological support were evaluated at the highest level in both overall appropriateness and overall feasibility.
