Public Service Management for Enhancing the Quality of Life of Citizens in Ban Mai Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang District,Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Abstract

          This research aimed to study 1) the management of public services to improve the quality of life of people in Ban Mai Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, and 2) the its level of quality of life of people This was quantitative research with a sample size of 400 people.  A structured Likert-scale questionnaire was used to gather data from participants. The statistical methods used for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test (Independent samples t-test), and F-test (one-way ANOVA).

           The research results showed that:

1. The overall influence of the public service management on improving the quality of life of people in Ban Mai Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, was at a high level. Based on the mean scores across all dimensions, the aspects were ranked in descending order as follows: infrastructure development, safety of life and property, good governance, continuation of royal initiatives, urban development, public health development, conservation of natural resources and the environment, agricultural development, tourism and sports, religion, culture and traditions, and educational development.
2. The level of quality of their life was also studied. Overall, the life quality was high. Based on the mean scores across all dimensions, the aspects were ranked in descending order as follows: mental well-being, independence, personal beliefs, physical health, social relationships, and the environment.
