The Leadership in the Administration of the Executives at Pathum Thani Municipality, Bang Prok Subdistrict, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani Province

Abstract

          The objectives of this research article were: 1. to examine the leadership in administrative management of the executives at Pathum Thani Municipality, Bang Prok Subdistrict, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani Province; 2. to study their administrative management based on the principles of good governance of the executives; and 3. to investigate the relationship between their leadership in the administrative management and the application of good governance principles among the executives. This study employed a quantitative research methodology. The sample consisted of 188 municipal employees and personnel working at Pathum Thani Municipality. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data were collected through questionnaire distribution, supplemented by personal follow-up to ensure the retrieval of completed responses. The statistical methods employed for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient.

           The research findings revealed that 1.) personnel working at Pathum Thani Municipality expressed their views on the leadership practices of municipal executives across various dimensions and overall were at a high level.  2.) Their opinions on the administrative management based on good governance principles of the municipal executives, categorized by aspect, and the overall level was high. 3) The administrative leadership of the executives of Pathum Thani Municipality is significantly related to governance-based management practices grounded in the principles of good governance among the executives of Pathum Thani Municipality, Bang Prok Subdistrict, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani Province.
